Organisations who possess sponsor licences are subject to a variety of Home Office-mandated obligations.

These obligations are outlined in the Sponsor Guidance from the Home Office.

Sponsor licences may be suspended or revoked for failure to uphold obligations outlined in the Sponsor Guidance, which would force the termination of sponsored workers’ employment.

Sponsors should make sure that those in charge of keeping the licence current regularly review the most recent guidance in order to make sure that the organisation is up to date with its compliance and that any necessary changes regarding the sponsorship of workers are made. The Sponsor Guidance is frequently amended and updated.
